CW 5200 Industrial Water Chiller User Manual

cw 5200 Industrial Water Chiller is an efficient and reliable refrigeration equipment, widely used in laser equipment, mechanical processing, food processing, chemical industry and other fields. Precautions for Use


1. Make sure that the power socket has good contact and the ground wire is reliably grounded!
Although the average working current of the industrial water chiller is not large, its instantaneous working current is sometimes as high as 6-10 amperes (AC110V power supply model instantaneous working current is sometimes as high as 10-15 amperes).

2. Make sure the working voltage of the industrial Laser chiller is stable and normal!
Since the refrigeration compressor is sensitive to the power supply voltage, the normal working voltage of our company's standard products is 200-250V (110V model is 100-130V). If a wider working voltage range is really needed, it can be customized separately.

3. Mismatched power supply frequency will cause damage to the machine!
Please use 50Hz or 60Hz models according to actual conditions.

4. To protect the circulating water pump, it is strictly forbidden to run without water!
The water storage tank is emptied before the new machine is packed. Please make sure that the water tank is filled with enough water before starting the machine, otherwise the water will be easily damaged. When the water level in the water tank is below the green (NORMAL) range of the water level gauge, the cooling capacity of the CW 5200 industrial water chiller will drop slightly. Please ensure that the water level in the water tank is within the green (NORMAL) range of the water level gauge. It is strictly forbidden to use the circulating pump to drain water!

5. Make sure that the air inlet and outlet channels of the chiller are unobstructed!
The air outlet behind the CW 5200 industrial water chiller must be more than 30cm away from the obstacle, and the side air inlet is required to be more than 8cm away from the obstacle.

6. The filter screen of the air inlet must be cleaned regularly!
The dust screen must be removed and cleaned regularly. Severe blockage of the dust screen will cause the chiller to malfunction.

7. Please pay attention to the impact of condensed water!
When the water temperature is lower than the ambient temperature and the ambient temperature is high, condensed water will be generated on the surface of the ring water pipe and the cooled device. When the above situation occurs, it is recommended to increase the water temperature setting or moisturize the connecting water pipe and the cooled device.

Installation Instructions


1. Industrial fiber laser chillers are easy to install and use. The first use of a new machine can be carried out according to the following steps:

2. Open the package and check whether the machine is intact and the accessories are complete;

3. Unscrew the water inlet on the top of the machine and inject cooling water (be careful not to let the water overflow);

4. Connect the inlet and outlet pipes according to the system situation;

5. Connect the power supply and turn on the power switch (it is strictly forbidden to start the machine without water);

6. Check the water level in the water tank;

7. Adjust the thermostat parameters.

Simple Fault Handling


1. The power supply is normal, but the whole machine cannot operate

Reason: Fuse blown, reverse relay failure
Troubleshooting: Replace the spare fuse, replace the reverse relay

2. The power switch trips

Reason: The power load line is grounded or short-circuited; the compressor, pump, and motor are grounded;
Troubleshooting: Replace with a new one; after inspection, if the fault is confirmed, replace or repair;

3. Reverse phase

Reason: Pump, compressor and fan reverse; phase loss;
Troubleshooting: Swap any two phases in the power phase line; use a multimeter to measure whether the three-phase power supply is normal and check whether the power line is broken.

4. Poor heat dissipation fault indicator light

Reason: High-pressure switch tripped, high-pressure switch damaged;
Troubleshooting: Clean the condenser, keep the air below 40℃; replace a new pressure switch;

5. Refrigerant shortage fault indicator light

Reason: Low-pressure tripped due to insufficient refrigerant, evaporator frozen, inaccurate thermostat or sensor failure
Troubleshooting: Check whether the expansion tank is short of water, whether the circulation pump is running, and after it is normal, manually reset the low-pressure switch or shut down and restart; if the evaporator is frozen, please drain the ice water and add warm water to melt the ice; replace or repair. Note: Do not hit the ice with hard objects. If the copper pipe is penetrated and water enters, the compressor will be damaged.
